The Robotic Dipping Cell (RoDC) is designed to automate the dipping, coating and shell-handling operations in investment casting.
Unlike the RoSS, the robot in this system is stationary and does not move on a track. The fixed robot performs the required dipping and coating operations and places the shell as per the programmed process sequence.
The system provides a compact automation solution for controlled and repeatable shell-building operations, helping improve consistency and reduce manual intervention.
